Attendees of the 2019 Conference of the Georgia Public Health Association can earn up to 15 hours of continuing education (CE) credit, approved by the American Public Health Association (APHA).
According to APHA rules, conference participants must attend the entire session and complete the evaluation online to earn credit hours and obtain a CE certificate. A link to the online evaluation system will be sent to all registered participants who attended the activity, including instructions and a personal ID number for access to the system.
All online evaluations must be submitted by June 15 to receive continuing education credit for this activity.

Health Education
The American Public Health Association is accredited by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. to sponsor continuing education for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES). This program is a designated event for the CHES to receive up to 15 Category I CE contact hours (CHEC).
Medicine
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint provider-ship of the American Public Health Association (APHA) and The Georgia Public Health Association. The APHA is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Designation statement
The APHA designates this (type of activity, live, self-paced, and web-based) educational activity for a maximum of 15 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s). Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Nursing
This continuing nursing education activity was approved by the American Public Health Association Public Health Nursing Section (APHA/PHN), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s COA.
Certification in Public Health
This conference was approved by the National Board of Public Health Examiners for CPH credits. One CPH credit per 1 hour of attendance at the conference up to 8 CPH credits per day.
