Russell Toal Receives Karl Peace Leadership Award
GPHA member Russell Toal is the 2014 Karl E. Peace Leadership Award recipient. The award recognizes “leadership in expanding the impact of public health among their peers and/or in the state of Georgia,” and is given annually by the The Gamma Theta Chapter of Delta Omega at Georgia Southern University.
Public Health Students Encouraged to Submit Abstracts for National Conference
Public Health students are invited to submit abstracts to present at the 142nd Annual Meeting of the American Public Health Association in New Orleans in November. The deadline for submitting poster abstracts has been extended to May 30, 2014.
