Whether you’re a veteran member of your county Board of Health, or a new member still learning the ropes, we want to help you make the most of your position.

During our upcoming conference, March 10 and 11 in Atlanta, we’ll have several sessions tailored specifically for Board of Health members. During these sessions, you’ll learn more about public health law, advocacy, and communication – all information you need to do your part in improving the health of your community.

Grant funds are available for hotel accommodations on Monday, March 10th for a select number of BOH Members traveling 50+ miles to the training. Hotel reservations will be the responsibility of the attendee, but please contact the GPHA Executive Office (Bridget Mailley, 678.302.1132 or bridget@gapha.org) to indicate that you wish to qualify for grant funding.
