Public Health bills being followed include HB 919 related to establishing rural health care organizations, HB 873 which is the Sudden Cardiac Arrest Prevention Act, and HB 129 which would allow communities to impose or remove fluoride from the public water system under certain circumstances.

Legislative Report for Feb. 12

Last week in the Georgia legislature, action was taken on a House bill relating to regulation of “Influenza Disease Education in Assisted Living Communities,” another House bill that would require licensure of lactation consultants, and a House bill that would exempt certain private swimming pools from inspection and licensing.
