Zynith Robinson received the Larry W. Miller Health Information Specialist Award during the 2022 GPHA Annual Meeting and Conference on Jekyll Island. The Health Information Specialist of the Year Award began in 1998 and is presented to a member of the Information Technology Section. The Health Information Specialist of the Year Award was established to recognize individuals for their professional contributions to managing, analyzing, producing, and communicating health information.
Robinson is constantly working towards deepening her knowledge of the ever-evolving field of information technology and stays informed of the latest IT news to help proactively manage technologies to best serve the needs of DPH. Joining the DPH team in 2014, Zynith has managed several projects, deployed several applications, hardware solutions, and policies to make the day-to-day operation more efficient. She was chosen to represent the Augusta District as one of two members to participate in the Department of Public Health’s Change Management Training and is a certified Change Practitioner for the organization. Zynith has been a highly dependable member of the team, going above and beyond to help during sheltering for Hurricane Matthew, Irma, and Dorian and throughout DPH’s COVID-19 response.
When not at the office, Zynith can be found at home spending time with her three boys, spending time with family, and honing her photography skills.
