In recognition of the public health contributions of Registered Dietitian Nutritionists throughout our state, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp has proclaimed March 11, 2020 “Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day” in Georgia.
The proclamation reads, in part, “Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) are food and nutrition experts who translate the science of nutrition into practical solutions for health living and … RDNs use their nutrition expertise to help individuals make unique and positive lifestyle changes.”
