The American Public Health Association, in partnership with the Aetna Foundation, National Association of Counties, and Healthy Places by Design, invites communities to apply for the Healthiest Cities & Counties Challenge.

Winners will receive funding and non-financial support to address local health challenges by actively engaging in peer-to-peer learning and experimenting with new ways of working with residents and partner organizations. Winning communities will build partnerships that include residents, local government, nonprofit partners, businesses and more to create a positive impact.

The application is available online at www.healthiestcities.org/apply. The deadline to submit applications is Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at 3 pm, and notifications of awards decisions will be made in April 2020.
