Dr. Brenda Fitzgerald, Director of the Georgia Department of Public Health, will soon serve on the national stage. The Trump administration has appointed Fitzgerald to head the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Fitzgerald has led the GA Department of Public Health for 6 years, after a career as an obstetrician and gynecologist.
