The American Heart Association in Atlanta is looking for 2 student volunteers for unpaid internship positions. 

The students would work primarily on the issue of raising the state sales tax on tobacco, but may involve other issues as well. The intern would help with a grassroots effort, including writing blogs and making social media updates. There would be an opportunity to spend a limited amount of time at the state capitol during the legislative session.

The interns would work primarily with a six-state AHA grassroots campaign under a regional director. Work could generally be done around class schedules.
