Longtime member and former GPHA President Lisa M. Carlson is one of two candidates for President-Elect of the American Public Health Association (APHA).

If elected, Carlson would become APHA President-Elect at the close of the 2018 Annual Meeting and Expo in San Diego on November 14, and assume the presidency at the close of the 2019 Annual Meeting.
