The GPHA Career Development section was created for the purpose of engaging students and young professionals across the state of Georgia, who are interested in careers dedicated to public health, in various educational activities and opportunities that will position them as leaders in public health locally, nationally, and globally.
A Career Development member is a student attending a school of public health or other health related program within Georgia or an early professional seeking to advance in the field of public health. Through the Career Development section’s LinkedIn Page, students and early professionals will be able to interact with other health professionals and learn more information about networking events, work-study positions, internships, thesis subjects, publishing opportunities, legislation, advocacy & policy opportunities, scholarships, and leadership opportunities
